Rasheeda's Freedom Day

A play devised in community with Harrison Center for the Arts, Indianapolis

March 2020

Four women from the Monon 16 and Martindale-Brightwood neighborhoods of Indianapolis, and who are pillars of the community, were guided through the process of created a performance about the women who had been impactful to them.

 

Their stories honored the mothers, grandmothers, aunts, nieces, sisters, and friends who shaped them into the women they are today.
